Triceps Dips

Triceps dips can be performed between two chairs or benches, or anything that will elevate your body above the ground. Position yourself between the two chairs so that your feet are resting on one chair while your hands are supporting your body on the edge of the other. Lower yourself until your arms are about parallel with the ground.

Once you have lowered your body, extend your arms to push yourself back up to the starting position.

Tips

* Place your hands on the front of the chair rather than the sides so that your elbows will remain close to your body throughout the range of motion, emphasizing the work of the triceps.
* To make the exercise more difficult, try resting weights on top of your legs as you perform the movement.
